You got it... Averett University.
Great venue. It was not sold out when we arrived around 5:30 but by show time (7:00ish) the place was full. A local band named the Church Sisters opened. TRU played two sets - about an hour and 45 minutes total. Great show with an incredible version of Wayfaring Stranger and an 11 minute Nine Pound Hammer to close the second set. Oh and he also played Shadows! Made a pretty good recording from the 2nd row. And then it was nice to be home by 11:00.

How close are you to Danville?
We are about 45 minutes away.

I live in Danville. I'm an Averett alumnus, though my diploma reads Averett College. I've known about the show for a couple of months, it just wasn't in the cards.

We live in Summerfield - Northwest Guilford County.
Loved the venue. Didn't know about the show until earlier this week - just been out-of-touch lately.
We should hook up next time there is a good show there.
